MyADDMoment Random Thoughts From A Random Human Being

So, many times in life, my mouth has got me in trouble. Okay, let’s be honest, at least once during the day. 😉. You know my father gets most of the blame for this. When I was a little girl, he would tell me, “If you think it, say it.”. Yeah, he probably shouldn’t have told me that, but at least people know where I stand. The great thing about being outspoken with a twisted sense of humor is that you run into some great opportunities to embarrass the crap out of your children!! I do that quite often too. Right now they are at great ages, 11 & 14, when basically anything your parents do embarrass you. Yesterday, a golden opportunity was missed though. I went into a dollar store to purchase some feminine hygiene products. WOO HOO!! I’m not pregnant!! LOL!! You guys better be glad I didn’t start blogging last week, it probably would haven’t been as lighthearted. Anywho, I get what I needed and go to the register to checkout. The young man waiting on me just made small talk while ringing it up. He gives me my change back and as I am starting to walk away he says, “Do you want your receipt?”. Well, without even thinking, I blurt out, “No, that’s okay. You wouldn’t want me to return them anyway.”. He giggled a little. Then I thought, I hope he doesn’t vomit!! I told him, “I apologize, that was gross.”. He just laughed and shook his head. Opportunity missed. Too bad my boys weren’t with me. Here’s a funny autocorrect for you.
